Invitation: Cyber Patriot Program Training & Battle of the Brains Coding Contest + coding workshops


Computer Science department of the University of Texas at Dallas is thrilled to announce the following 2 programs for students:

FREE Cyber Patriot Program Training:

UT Dallas Cyber Security Research and Education Institute will start Cyber Patriot Program training sessions on Saturday, Sep 26th @ 10am in UT Dallas campus. I request you to forward this email to your teachers & students, and encourage them to take advantage of this FREE training. No prior experience is necessary.

ACM Programming Contest for High School students:

We have Fall 2015 ACM ICPC-style Programming Contest (a.k.a. Battle of the Brains) coming up on Saturday October 31st. All high school and advanced middle school students are welcome to attend. Registration is FREE thanks to State Farm sponsorship. Accommodation and meals will be provided for all out-of-town teams. Please register your team counts @ bit.ly/hspc-utd. You can always revise later - we will use your latest entry.

Coding Clubs & Workshops:

We run weekend coding clubs and camps during all school breaks @ UT Dallas campus & we also conduct AfterSchool Coding Clubs in nearly 50 schools around the metroplex! We will be happy to start a coding club in your school. If your school is far away from UT Dallas, we can conduct one-day workshops as well. List of topics @ utd.edu/k12/desc.
