Reflections is now a PTA Member benefit

The Reflections program is open to all SEM students if the student or at least one person from their primary household is a current member of our SEM PTA before submitting an entry.

The 2015-2016 Reflections theme is Let Your Imagination Fly.

Reflections is a fabulous PTA program.

Reflections is PTA's signature arts program. The arts — and the Reflections Program — support student success and serve as a valuable tool for building strong partnerships in our school community. Celebrate arts learning in our SEM school community with Reflections.

Reflections provides opportunities for students to create art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to create and submit works of art in six areas: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts (which includes drawing, painting, print making, and collage). No experience is required.

Students submit entries by our SEM deadline. Our PTSA will judge the entries, present local awards and submit the advancing entries in each category to the council. Entries are judged at the local, council, state and national PTA levels.

Key dates:
SEM entry deadline: Original: October 30, 2015 - Extended to Friday, Nov 13.
Trinity Council entry deadline: TBA (usually early December)

Students may enter  any or all of the six art categories. Multiple entries within a single arts category is permitted.  Each entry must be the original work of one student and created specifically for the Reflections program based on the national theme. Each entry must also conform to the guidelines developed by the National PTA.
